Romania Travel
Romania travel offers a mix of rich history, stunning landscapes, and charming towns that surprised me at every turn. From exploring the medieval streets of Brașov and Sibiu to discovering the mysteries of Bran Castle, there’s something for everyone. Bucharest, the lively capital, blends old-world charm with a modern vibe—don’t miss the massive Palace of Parliament.
The Carpathian Mountains are perfect for hiking, and the Transfagarasan Highway offers one of the most scenic drives in Europe. I was especially captivated by the painted monasteries in Bucovina and the serene beauty of the Danube Delta.
Romanian cuisine is another highlight—think of hearty dishes like sarmale (cabbage rolls) and ciorbă (sour soup). If you’re visiting in winter, the Christmas markets are magical, especially in Sibiu. With its friendly locals and budget-friendly prices, Romania is an underrated gem that’s well worth exploring.
