Portugal Travel

Portugal travel offers a mix of stunning coastlines, historic cities, and charming villages that quickly won me over. Lisbon, with its iconic yellow trams and the historic Alfama district, is a must-see. I loved exploring its narrow streets, soaking in views from the Miradouros, and tasting pastel de nata at local bakeries.

Heading south, the Algarve region is perfect for beach lovers. My favorites were the secluded coves around Lagos and the dramatic cliffs of Ponta da Piedade. If you enjoy wine, don’t miss the Douro Valley—driving through its vineyard-covered hills was a highlight.

Porto, with its historic Ribeira district, offers a more laid-back vibe. Be sure to try a glass of port wine here. For something unique, visit the fairytale-like palaces of Sintra, just a short train ride from Lisbon. Portugal’s friendly locals, diverse landscapes, and delicious cuisine make it a destination worth exploring again and again.
