How To Get To Albena

Albena is located 30 kilometers north of Varna and Varna Airport. Nevertheless, getting to Albena from Varna Airport by public transportation if not impossible, is complicated.

From Varna Airport take the bus line 409. The bus stop is in front of Terminal 2 Arrivals. You can buy a ticket on the bus. Bus line 409 goes to Golden Sands, which is 13 km away from Albena. You’ll have to get a taxi from there.

In the summer months transfers are provided from Varna Airport to Albena. They are not regular bus lines, so you’d better check with your accommodation for up-to-date information.

The most convenient way to get from Varna Airport to Albena is to rent a car. The rental car will also give you the flexibility to explore around.
